Special Guest(s): Erin Foster & Bernie Edwards - Erin is a former librarian turned stay-at-home mom. She lives just outside New York City with her husband and three daughters, a 15 year old and 12 year old twins. Erin has been part of the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since it began in 2008. She has answered more than 8,000 questions on the site. She's lost count of the number of times she's been to Walt Disney World and has also been to Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, as well as traveling on the Disney Cruise Line and several Adventures by Disney trips. In addition to the Moms Panel, Erin is a regular contributor to DisneyFoodBlog.com and touringplans.com.<
Bernie Edwards is an engineer for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and is a member of the 2012 Walt Disney World Moms Panel, as well as being a member in 2010 and 2011. He has answered just under 3000 questions on the Moms Panel site. He has visited Walt Disney World and Disneyland over 100 times each, and he has also visited Disneyland Paris and sailed on the Disney Cruise Line.
Questions/topics we discuss in this podcast: Leaving the boat for excursions Is there a limited menu at restaurants when using the dining plan? MLK or Columbus Weeks? Cruisecrasher writes, "I'm so thrilled that the cruises will continue out of Port of Galveston (no airfare! Whoop!) My husband and I just booked our third cruise (Disney Magic, spring 2013) and have a question about our kids. For our first cruise, we, well, left them at home with their grandparents. :) A Disney cruise without kids? Gasp! But we were hooked. And decided the kids would like it too. So they're booked on their first cruise with us Thanksgiving 2012. My question is: do we need to do anything between these two cruises to make sure their Castaway Club #s get attached to the second cruise? We've already booked it so as to avoid the price raises that will probably show up as the sailing fills. Thank you for your podcast! It gets me through my morning run."
