PassPorter's Walt Disney World News Bulletin
More FastPass+ Changes Announced
In a Disney Parks Blog post, Disney announced that they are working on adding additional FastPass+ entitlements for guests. Guests will have the ability to plan up to three FastPass+ per day in advance but once they have used those FastPass+ entitlements, will be able to book new ones, one at a time. Also, Disney is working on expanding the FastPass+ system to allow for park hopping. No exact dates for these changes have been announced.

My family just visited Walt Disney parks in March and experienced fast pass+. This was not our first visit and we always purchased park hopper. The fast pass+ process really made park hopping difficult as you could only use fast pass at one park only. I was upset to spend the money and was unable to enjoy Disney as we had in prior years. So changes for park hopping are welcomed. Just wish I could be reimbursed for the charges.
All in all I think this will be a good process, but labor intensive. I fully understand why the park ticket increases after seeing the number of Disney staff required to support the process. I am sure it will get better over time but for now it's quite the seen to see when the park opens.

These changes are definitely good ones. I've been hoping for a park hopping option with Fastpass+ ever since the system started and I'm glad they're now looking at that.

Many of the Fastpass+ options are events that happen at a certain prescheduled time (i.e., parades), some even at the end of the night (i.e., Illuminations, FW viewing). How is the new policy going to work around these fastpass+ options when you can only get more AFTER you have used your initial 3?
