All About Laughaholic88

Hiya! Laughaholic88 here, one of your Passporter Guides for the 'Vacationing Your Way: Your Special Needs' forum!

On the boards, you know me as the one who is intoxicated by laughter, Laughaholic88! But, in real life my name is Kristin. I live in lovely Pennsylvania, which I would never give up except for maybe Disney!

My love for Disney started in 1991 when I made my first trip to Disney. I remember everything, (okay, maybe not everything!) including my first ride, which was..um..okay maybe that wasn't such a good example!

I also gained a love for Figment in my first trip. I thought he was the cutest thing! My real love for him started when I was going up to get my picture with Dreamfinder and Figment, and Figgy ripped off my pink Minnie hat and threw it into the crowd. I still have that hat!

I have a passion for writing, I have won two essay contests, in which one I received a citation, the other was a trip to Washington D.C.! The trip to D.C. was actually a surprise, I was in Florida the time they picked the winners, (my cousin was one of 2000 Disney Millenium Dreamers, we were down there to participate in all of the functions in the parks, including a speech by Christopher Reeve, I have a very Disney family!) and I was actually just calling my friend to find out how school was, and she told me I won!

I have one brother, Eric, who is 6. He is Autistic, his brain works a little differently then ours! I have traveled to Disney 9 times, 10 this summer, including 3 with him. I have learned most of what you need to know about traveling with Special Needs, but I am willing to learn what I don't know!

When I helped instigate one of many posts about a Disabilities forum, I was very excited when Jennifer and Dave asked me to be guide for the new, 'Vacationing Your Way: Your Special Needs' forum. I now co-guide this forum with a lovely lady!
