Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955 and just celebrated its 63rd birthday! To celebrate its 63rd birthday, the park had a special parade called the “Happiest March on Earth” in the afternoon. The birthday festivities also included the Dapper Dans and many Disney characters!
A new Pizzafari Family-Style Dining Experience is now available between 5:00 and 8:00 pm every day. This experience essentially turns a part of the eatery into a sort of table-service venue. To get this service at Pizzafari, just make a reservation online or at 407-WDW-DINE during the available times, check in at the podium, and you'll be seated in one of the two designated dining rooms. Your dinner will be brought directly to your table family-style and will include two appetizers (Caprese Salad and Caesar Salad), three entrees (including pasta, chicken, and pizza dishes), and dessert. Dinner is $19.99 for adults and $11.99 for kids, and includes non-alcoholic beverages (the experience counts as one quick-service credit on the Disney Dining Plan). Don't want table-service? Don't worry—the quick-service ordering and seating areas are still available!

Several Walt Disney World golf courses are getting some TLC. The Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is under refurbishment until late August 2018 -- the course will operate as a 9-hole course during this period. Work on Oak Trail begins June 25 and will also be finished by mid-August. Oak Trail will also receive a Mickey-shaped bunker. In addition, the greens are being restored to their original size and totally resurfaced using paspalum grass for the first time ever on a Disney putting green.
This year, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is adding a few new experiences!
