There are literally thousands of choices when it comes to accommodation in Orlando and no guidebook can hope to cover every option available to you.

Instead, over the next few pages, we’ll be taking an in-depth look at the five on-site hotels at the Universal Orlando Resort, including the newest resort—Sapphire Falls—which opened in 2016. These hotels are definitely worth considering, especially if you plan on spending time at Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure, as all hotel guests receive early addmission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, while some of the resorts also offer free Universal Express ride access. This allows you to skip the regular lines at most and attractions in both theme parks, all by showing your hotel room key.

Other perks include complimentary on-site transportation to the theme parks and CityWalk, the ability to charge purchases to your room and have items purchased throughout the resort sent back to your hotel room. As a hotel guest, you also enjoy priority restaurant seating.

Of course, these benefits don’t come cheaply, and if you want to keep your budget lower, you might want to consider other options. In this chapter, we’ll also take a look at the hotels that have Universal Partner status, the official hotels of SeaWorld, and that park's partner hotels.

We'll then head further afield and explore the LEGOLAND Hotel, along with the new LEGOLAND Beach Retreat, and the park's partner hotels.

If you plan on spending  time at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, we’ll also give you the low down on their featured vacation packages, if you want to enjoy more time on the Gulf Coast.

What you won’t find in this chapter is listings of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Instead, you’ll find everything you could ever want to know in PassPorter’s Walt Disney World, which contains maps of each resort, room layouts, sample room rates and details about the amenities at each resort, including detailed information on restaurants.
