Quite often we're on the lookout for specific items, whether they be souvenirs or necessities. To help hunt down your treasures, here is a partial list of places to find some of the more commonly sought items:

AlcoholYou can buy a mixed drink, beer, or wine, at any of the hotels, Downtown Disney District, and Disney California Adventure park. The only place that prohibits the sale or consumption of alcohol is Disneyland Park (except for the fabled Club 33, page 103). You can also find several liquor stores within walking distance of Disneyland on Harbor Blvd. Supermarkets (see Groceries below) also sell beer, wine, and liquor in California.

Baby NeedsThe baby care centers in the two Disney parks sell common baby items, such as diapers, wipes, and formula. Your hotel's gift shop may stock these items as well.

GroceriesSnacks are available at most of the hotel shops. For more serious shopping, visit Walmart at 1127 S. Anaheim Blvd. or Target at 12100 S. Harbor Blvd.other options include Albertson's (810 South State College Blvd., 714-533-4790) and Food 4 Less (1616 W. Katella Avenue, 714-539-7497). Von's (12961 W. Chapman Ave., 714-750-3663) will deliver groceries to your hotel.

GumGum is not sold on Disney property to avoid messes. If you need it, bring it with you or buy it off-property and, please, dispose of it properly!

Lost ItemsLost and Found centers are located everywhere you gogenerally near the front of the park or complex. You can also call Disney Lost and Found at 714-817-2166. Lost and found items are kept at each park only until closing. After that, they're transferred to Central Lost and Found, outside the main entrance of Disneyland Park, to the left of the entrance.

Medicine—Get prescription and over-the-counter medicines from these nearby drugstores: CVS (open 24 hours, 1 mile south of Disney California Adventure, 1803 S. Harbor Blvd., 714-817-9116); Rite-Aid (3 miles west of Disneyland,921 S Brookhurst St., 714-772-0240);  or Walgreens (2.5 miles west of Disneyland, 10840 W. Katella Ave., 714-808-0126) . Both Target and Wal-Mart also have pharmacies.

Missing or Lost PersonsShould you become separated from a child, immediately alert a cast member, and Disneyland Security will help you. Teach kids how to recognize cast members, who will escort lost children immediately to the park's baby care center. It's a good idea to choose a meeting place each day in the event you are separated from your family or friends. You may also find it helpful to give each member of your party a two-way radio or cell phone to stay in touch with one another. We also suggest you take a digital photo of kids each morningthis will help you if a child is lost. Consider using "Who's Shoes ID" tags (available at Amazon.com and other retailers), too!

MoneyATMs are located in all the parks and resorts. See our park maps or Disney's guidemaps for locations. The Disneyland Resort accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club, traveler's checks, cash, Disney Dollars, and Disney Reward Redemption Cards (see Money-Saving Programs, page 10 for details on the Disney Visa card). Personal checks are also accepted (with two forms of identification), but only at the resort where you are a guest.

Rain GearIf you didn't bring an umbrella or poncho along, Disney will sell you one at virtually any shop. You may need to ask, but chances are they'll have something. Tip: If your poncho rips, bring it back to any shop and they'll replace it.

SouvenirsNeed a Disneyland souvenir before you go or after you return home? Call Disneyland DelivEARS at 800-362-4533 to buy those items and have them shipped to your home.
