You're bold. You're daring. You're a traveler. Now, here's your passport to an even more magical Disneyland Resort vacation!

Once you've tasted Southern California, you'll hunger for more. Most visitors can only nibble at the many wonders this region holds. There is much, much more that can be done to make your vacation magical. We've been to Southern California more than most and yet there are still so many things we haven't done, and we add new discoveries to the wish list after every trip. It can all be a bit overwhelming, not to mention habit-forming.

If you tried to keep up with each new activity on the horizon, you'd have a full-time job on your hands. So we've narrowed things down a bit to the Disneyland Resort and a few choice locations. And to help you undertake your own magical explorations, we present a collection of useful information about some of Disneyland's lesser-known aspects and attractions. This is our "everything else" chapter.

To begin, we give you a backstage pass to Disney's guided tours. Then it's on to recreational pursuits in and near Disneyland. From there, we lead you on a treasure hunt for fun tucked away inside the parks—both real "treasure hunts" and hunts for items you'll treasure. We've even added a mini worksheet for those of you who love to shop. Next we share our special tricks for feeling and looking like a VIP on your tripa little extra-special attention can go a long way! Then we give you the low-down on childcare. Special occasions and events aren't forgotten, either, with ideas, tips, and details on celebrating birthdays, engagements, honeymoons, anniversaries, holidays, and more. Before we say goodbye, we'll leave you with information for explorations beyond the Disneyland Resort at other Disney vacation spotsfrom exotic ports of call to foreign lands, to home lands. So get out that pixie dust and don your sorcerer's hatwe're making magic, Disney-style!
