Ariel's Disney Princess Celebration (Disney California Adventure)

Ariel and your favorite princesses are your royal hosts for this three-course meal. The princesses may include Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty. Breakfast (9:00am-10:00am) is $42.10/adult and $22.60/child, and includes pastries, fruit, and traditional breakfast favorites. Lunch (10:00am-5:00pm) is served at your table and includes a starter, entrée, dessert, and one soft drink. Cost (including tax) is $45.35/adult and $23.75/child. Dinner is NOT a character meal. Note: You’ll be meeting Ariel as a human rather than as the Little Mermaid, so expect her to wear a dress and walk about on those ... what do you call them? ... feet! Goofy's Kitchen (Disneyland Hotel)

Goofy’s Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is one of the more expensive character meals, but don’t let this scare you away as Goofy, Pluto, and friends make this a rockin’ good time with song and dance. The brunch buffet is so amazing; it’s a feast for the eyes as well as your appetite. Cost for brunch is $32.99/adults and $16.99/kids ages 3–9. Cost with tax for dinner is $38.99/adults and $16.99/kids ages 3–9. Breakfast hours are 7:00am-11:30am on weekdays, and until 2:00 pm on weekends; dinner hours are 5:00–8:45 pm. Jennifer and Dave’s Rating: 8/10

Breakfast in the Park with Minnie and Friends (Plaza Inn at Disneyland Park)

Enjoy a delicious buffet meal while Disney characters cavort around you. You’ll certainly meet Minnie and many of her friends, who may include Hook, Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, Chip, Dale, Fairy Godmother, and Rafiki (sorry, Mickey is busy over in Toontown and can’t make it). Cost is $33.99/adults and $13.99/kids ages 3–9. The first seating typically begins at park opening with the last seating at 11:00 am. Reservations are definitely recommended for this popular breakfast. Jennifer and Dave’s Rating: 9/10

Storytellers Cafe Breakfast with Chip 'n Dale (Grand Californian Hotel)

This very popular character breakfast is hosted by pals Chip and Dale and often, Brother Bear’s Koda and Kenai (occasionally replaced by other animal characters). The Storytellers Café is well known for its delicious, “more than you can eat” buffets. Add to this some zany adventures, sing and dance-alongs, and you are in for a “nutty” good time. Note, however, that the characters do not visit the tables as frequently as other at Disney character meals. Cost is $29.99/adults and $14.99/kids ages 3–9. Breakfast seating starts at 7:00 am and ends at 11:25 am. Jennifer and Dave’s Rating: 7/10
