Named after one of the most famous movie palaces of Hollywood's Golden Age, Carthay Circle features plenty of glamour and some of the best food in any American theme park. Chef Andrew Sutton has crafted a menu that showcases the best of Southern California cuisine with dishes such as ceviche of blue cobia ($16), chicken and Anaheim chili raviolis ($32.00), and sesame soy-glazed Skuna Bay salmon ($35). Kids' menu offers a choice of fish, tacos, soba noodle bowl, or pasta ($7-$13). A three-course fixed price Paint the NIght Dining Package is also available for dinner at $99/adult and $45/child, which includes tickets to a reserved viewing area (standing room only). Be sure to check out some of the old movie memorabilia on display while you are there. |

This Monsters Inc.-themed stand (it's not Abominable Snowman, it's Adorable Snowman, get it?) is near the entrance of the soon-to-open Pixar Pier. The big draw here is the non-dairy lemon soft serve ice cream (we hear it's something like the lemon version of a Dole Whip). You can get it plain, swirled, in a parfait, dipped in white chocolate, or as a root beer float! |
