Disneyland Resort’s park operating hours vary from day to day and season to season, which can make detailed trip planning a bit of a challenge. Disneyland only announces its schedule about six weeks in advance, and those hours can and do change without notice. They’ll even extend park hours on the spot if the day’s crowd is larger than expected.

Essentially, Disneyland Resort has three park seasons: The Summer schedule runs from Memorial Day Weekend (usually the last weekend in May) through Labor Day (the first Monday in September). The Off-Season picks up where the busy Summer leaves off, running from September through May, with breaks for major holidays. During Holiday weeks and long Holiday weekends, you can expect that the parks will be open later than usual, parades will be more numerous, and the fireworks at Disneyland Park will light up nearly every evening after dark.

To help you peer farther into the future, we’ve prepared a chart that shows typical operating hours during the various seasons and days of the week. As we’ve already noted, these hours can vary. Further, some attractions at the parks are open early on select days for special guests with Extra Magic Hours (see page 86), and both parks may open an hour earlier (and remain open an hour or more later) on busier weekends and holidays.
