Use the chart above to see the differences in amenities and features among the three hotels. Beyond these, features are pretty standard. Here are the details:

AmenitiesAll rooms have the basics: television with remote control, mini refrigerator, phone, drawers, clothing rod with hangers, small desk or table, chairs, alarm clock, in-room safe, hair dryer, free wi-fi, and iron/ironing board, as well as simple toiletries. A few additional amenities differ from resort to resort and are detailed in the respective hotel description.

Check-in Time—Check-in time is 3:00 pm at all three Disney hotels, although rooms may be available earlier if you inquire upon your arrival. If your room is not available, you can register, leave your luggage with Bell Services, and go play in the parks while your room is being prepared.

Check-Out Time—Check-out time is 11:00 am. If you need to check out an hour or two later, ask the Front Desk the morning of check-out. If the resort isn’t busy, they may grant your request at no extra cost. Extended check-out may also be available for an extra fee. You can also leave your bags with Bell Services and go play in the parks.

Childcare—A children’s “club” for ages 5–12—Pinocchio’s Workshop—is available at the Grand Californian. To make reservations, call 714-635-2300. To arrange childcare in your room, check with the front desk of your Disney hotel for information on third-party babysitting services.

Concierge—All three Disney hotels offer a concierge level with extra perks like upgraded amenities and access to a concierge lounge with a continental breakfast, all-day snacks, and twilight wine and cheese. Concierge services are associated with certain rooms within a resort (often the higher floors) and come at a higher rate.

Convention Centers—All Disney hotels are popular among convention-goers due to their excellent meeting facilities and business centers. For more details on convention facilities, call 714-520-7025 or https://www.disneymeetings.com.

Data Services—Wireless internet access is free in guest rooms and many public areas of the Disney hotels. Each also has a Business Center with computers and printers, available for a fee. At press time, the charge for computer usage with internet access is $.50/minute, with a 10-minute minimum. Printing costs $1.00/page, black and white, and $1.50 color.

Disabled Access—The Disney hotels offer access for differently abled guests, including two types of ADA-compliant accommodations. Inquire at reservation time about availability and specifics, and be sure to ask that “Special Needs” be noted on your reservation. Our hotel descriptions indicate the number of barrier-free rooms in each Disney hotel.

Extra Magic Hours—Disney hotel guests may enter the parks one hour early on select days. Check park hours to see when Extra Magic Hours are offered.
