BEST LOCATIONS

Standard rooms are located on floors 2–5 and come in five different views: standard (views of Disneyland Drive, rooftop, or parking area), woods courtyard view, deluxe partial view (partial views of theme park or Downtown Disney District), Downtown Disney District view, and premium view (views of pool or theme park). If the theme park view is your main draw, be sure to reserve a park/pool view room and then specifically request a park view. We had a Downtown Disney view and loved it—we could even see the Disneyland fireworks in the evenings. We've also had a “city standard” (read: parking lot) view, which suited us just fine, as we spent little time in our room. Note also that the bunk bed rooms are popular—if this is your preference, be sure to request it specifically. Concierge rooms are on floor 6, which is also key-protected. Note that there are only three sets of elevators, which can mean a long walk in this sprawling hotel. If this is an issue, request a room near an elevator.
