GETTING AROUND THE LA/ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ONT)

The LA/Ontario International Aiport is about the same distance away from Disneyland Resort as Los Angeles International, but thanks to traffic, it’s only about a 30–40 minute drive away and it offers fewer hassles and frustrations than LAX. Ontario International is served by eight major airlines (AeroMexico, Alaska, American, Delta, jetBlue, Southwest, United/Ted, and United Express Airlines) and eight major car rental agencies (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty). The airport is very modern and user-friendly.

Reader Tip: “Most guidebooks I’ve seen overlook Ontario International, but having grown up in Southern California and being a cast member commuting from this area, I know the airport is a well-kept secret.” — contributed by reader Jeff Rosenzweig.

For more details on the Ontario International Airport, call 909-937-2700 or visit http://www.lawa.org and click the “ONT” tab. Airport address: 2900 East Airport Drive, Ontario, CA 91761.
