The Best of TimesThe Best of Times |
Most Southern California vacation veterans can tell you that some times are much better to visit than others. We wholeheartedly agree, but there’s more to it. While there are certainly times of the year that are less crowded or more temperate, no one but you can decide the best time to visit. To help you decide, we charted the fluctuating factors for each month. Still, if you ask us, the best times to visit are the first half of May, mid-September through mid-November, and the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas week. Do your best to avoid the holidays, when the crowds swell. The latter half of January, all of February (except Presidents Week), first half of March, and early December are also uncrowded, though you’ll have cooler temperatures and more rain to contend with.
