But what would a new location be without food, right? Sure enough, Maurice's Treats provides just that, with some great "twists." More ...

       TIP
Beef Up Your Buzz Lightyear Scores
"In Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters at Disneyland, your “job” as a Space Ranger is to help Buzz defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. To do this, you are given a blaster, tethered to your ride vehicle, which you use to shoot targets throughout the ride. There are four different shapes, each with a different point value: • Circle - 100 points • Square - 1,000 points • Diamond - 5,000 points • Triangle - 10,000 or more points Obviously, the goal is to get the highest possible score. What many people don’t seem to consider, though, is that you’ll never get a high score, or even a good score, if you always aim for the circles. Think of it this way: If circles are worth 100 points and triangles are worth 10,000 points, you'd have to hit 100 circles to equal the points from one triangle. So wouldn't you be better off just aiming for the triangles (or, if there are no triangles in the area, diamonds)? No matter how difficult it is, you can surely hit at least one triangle in the time it would take you to hit 100 circles, right? This is why my scores are routinely 500,000+, often 700,000+, while most people I ride with are lucky to exceed 100,000. There is an exception to this. At the beginning, start with a few close, easy targets to get the hang of the blaster, since it can be hard to tell exactly where the infrared beam is hitting."
