Within about one year (mid 2019), you can expect to find NO single-use straws, plastic stirrers, or polystyrene cups at any of the Disney-owned and operated locations worldwide. This is anticipated to reduce more than 175 million straws and 13 million stirrers annually. Additionally, over the next few years Disney will switch over to refillable in-room amenities, which will also reduce plastics in guest rooms. Plastic shopping bags will also be greatly reduced, and guests will have the option of purchasing reusable bags at a nominal price.
