Disney to Acquire Lucasfilm

The Walt Disney Co. has announced plans to acquire Lucasfilm, the studio behind Star Wars and Indiana Jones. The purchase also includes special effects company Industrial Light & Magic, Skywalker Sound, and video game company LucasArts. Disney announced a new Star Wars film to debut in 2015 and expects to produce more feature films in the Star Wars Saga.
