Update to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge[Note: This update is now out-of-date, as we've brought out subsequent editions of PassPorter with more updated information. But do feel free to take a look at the file! We're keeping this page up for archival/historical purposes.] Authors Jennifer and Dave had the pleasure of a week-long stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge during its opening week in April 2001. One month later, we brought Dave’s extended family (over 30 in all) to the lodge for a five-day stay. During those visits we took copious notes, asked far too many questions, and tried to do virtually everything at least once (if not several times). The result is a great collection of knowledge and facts on Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. We are delighted to share our experiences with you! Because PassPorter 2001 went to press before Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge opened, we were unable to include our usual first-hand information on the new resort. We did include four pages on the Lodge, but they were based only on press releases and other preliminary sources.
